Eastbank as a self-catering holiday home
Eastbank is available to rent in its entire glory, perfect for the large family gathering, or for groups of cyclists, golfers or walkers enjoying all the beauty that Ballater, Deeside, the Cairngorms National Park and Scotland have to offer.
It comfortably sleeps 8-10 people (plus cot and sofa bed) in 4 large double bedrooms, each with either their own private bathroom or en-suite. There is also a double sofa bed in the second sitting room which could accommodate extra guests if required and an extra travel cot if you would prefer to have baby in your room.
Eastbank is a grand old house refurbished to a high standard with all mod cons – It consists of a lounge with leather sofa and large rocking reclining chairs and a cosy log burning stove in the exposed granite fireplace; sitting/reading room with leather double sofa bed for extra guests, plus antique chairs, with wireless broadband working throughout the house, and a range of reading materials and local information; large dining table in the conservatory (seating 6) and a further table in the kitchen (seating 6).
The large well equipped country kitchen has a lovely big cosy Aga plus electric hob and all virtually new appliances including large capacity washer & dryer, full sized larder fridge & freezer, dishwasher & microwave.
The bedrooms consist of:
- Bedroom 1- a king sized mahogany sleigh bed in this room plus vast array of wardrobes, en-suite bathroom, newly fitted, which has natural slate tiling, free standing jacuzzi bath & separate shower cubicle.
- Bedroom 2 - a double leather sleigh bed in this room, plus fitted wardrobe & dressing table, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press, en-suite shower room.
- Bedroom 3- twin room with fitted furniture, TV, tea & coffee making facilities, trouser press, separate private shower room immediately adjacent.
- Bedroom 4- large room with 2 single beds plus pull-out beds to convert them to doubles or extra singles if required, and a cot, plus toys in abundance (ideal kids room or family room), with a shower room along the hall.
Externally are extensive gardens surrounding the property including patio table and seating, and a play area of swing, see saw & slide plus rope swing, and a driveway large enough to provide off-road parking for at least 4 vehicles.
